Thanks to AirAsia, me and my wife, Monica able enjoy this Vietnam – Laos Trip, with only minimal cost. We manage to get the air ticket for two of us, flying from LCCT, Kuala Lumpur to Noi Bai, Hanoi (include a breakfast), and from Wattay, Vientaine to LCCT, with total RM506.03 only.

We’d purchase our air ticket on 01 Feb, 08, which AirAsia was launching their zero fare campaign, the flight to Vietnam is on 28 Apr 08, and the return flight is on 08 May 08.

Two months preparation period is actually too short for us. We only manage to draft out the route, information over internet of these countries is quite limited. The most important thing for us is figure out border crossing overland from Vietnam to Laos, as we fly back Malaysia from Wattay Airport.

Even though our initial plan includes visiting Halong Bay in Vietnam, and Luang Prabang in Laos, but we cannot make it because of time factor. We have to keep those sites for our next trip.
