Hoan Kiem Lake
This Lake name Hoan Kiem Lake (Vietnamese: Hồ Hoàn Kiếm, meaning "Lake of the Returned Sword") is the major gathering point for both local people and tourists.

There is Tortoise Tower(Thap Rua) in the center of the lake, hang a tale of legend about emperor Le Loi and the magical sword. At the northern part of the lake, there is Ngoc Son Temple (Jade Mountain Temple), which build in 18th century on an small island cannected with the mainland by the Huc Bridge.

Some ancient building can be found surrounding Hoan Kiem Lake, include a Four Gate Arch. Every gate been given a name in Chinese Language, which shows Vietnam had China influence along the history time line.
Inline with the modenization occurance in Hanoi City, more and more modern buildings erected around Hoan Kiem Lake too, one of them is Hapro Cafe, which enable tourists and local having a nice cup of Vietnamise Highlands coffee while enjoying the breeze from the lake.

You can watch the older generation doing their morning exercises, people strolling and going about their business, and young couples romancing around the lake.
